Electronic Books
Students practice writing to make electronic books. Students are practicing writing pattern sentences using sight words and stretching unknown words to hear the sounds in the word. Sentences start with a capital, have finger spaces, end with a punctuation mark, all other letters are lower case.
Pumpkins
Scientists describe objects by their properties. We describe objects by their color, shape, and size. Students describe, measure the circumference of their pumpkin, and compare.
